A few years ago, on a whim, I thought it would be fun to make some soap. It started me on a long path of experimentation and learning. What I’ve learned above all else is the never-ending generosity and wisdom of the natural world. (Also, I’m pretty good at making soap).
I have spent my life in Washington State, wandering the forests, beaches and deserts of this incredible place. The most beautiful spot of them all is the North Fork of the Stillaguamish River. Our cabin on the "Stilly" has been an essential place of family, friends and of course, wandering for more than forty years. It is the place that inspires and comforts me most.
I am happy to share my handmade soaps and body products inspired by the places and people I love.
I have experimented with and given away hundreds of bars of soap in the pursuit of recipes that are just right. The results are long-lasting, thoughtfully scented soaps with a creamy lather that cleanses well and leaves skin moisturized.
